How did I get here?

I remember being a young child with a strong passion for art. Like most kids, I loved watching cartoons and spent hours drawing. At the same time, I was also exposed to technology at an early age, owning a few gadgets even during my primary school years. I remember creating my first digital artwork using MS Paint when I was just 13 years old.

As I grew older, my interests evolved, and I realized that I had a deep fascination with both art and technology. However, due to the challenges of the Nigerian educational system, I pursued a scientific path. Despite the obstacles, I persisted.

It wasn’t until my first year at university as a computer science student that I stumbled upon the world of design. In 2011, with the guidance of my roommate, I began exploring Photoshop. From that moment on, my journey of self-discovery in the creative realm began. I delved into various creative tools, honed my skills, explored different fields, and learned about design strategies and processes.

Today, I am a freelance multidisciplinary designer providing services across identity, graphics, web, UI/UX, illustration, and occasionally print. It has been an incredible five-year journey in the industry, constantly pushing boundaries and expanding my horizons.

If you’re interested in seeing some of my work, you can check out my portfolio here. You can also find me on Dribbble and Behance.
